Services During Lockdown

Sadly the Scottish Government has once again stated that churches may not meet for public worship. This is a tragedy, as nothing can replace the physical gathering of God's people. For now, we will post a recorded act of worship to our YouTube page each weekend which will also be linked from our sermons page. We will resume in-person services, with all necessary precautions, as soon as possible - watch this space.

Morning Service, 10:30am

NOTE: SERVICES ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19 - SEE ABOVE.

Our morning service starts at 10:30am, and generally finishes around noon. We'd love for you to join us - all are welcome. There's provision for little ones, kids and teenagers (currently suspended due to Covid-19 - see our covid-safe services page).

Our Sunday services are the most important thing we do as a church. The central thing we do in them is to hear God speaking to us through his Word, the Bible.  That's why you'll find that we give a fair part of our time to the reading and preaching of the Bible, working our way through different books or themes.  We also sing praise to God, pray, and encourage one another in our faith.

There's time after the service to chat with others over tea or coffee, and we'd love for you to stay for a while if you can.

Evening Service, 6:00pm

NOTE: THE EVENING SERVICE IS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19.

We meet for a second service each Sunday at 6:00pm, which gives us the opportunity to close the day, as we began it, in worship. We have a growing number of families coming along to the evening service, where there are tables at the back of the hall which they can use. A sheet is provided to help younger children to engage with the service and sermon.

The service normally lasts a little over an hour and, as with the morning service, we usually follow through a preaching series in a particular book of the Bible or on a particular theme.
